Bio

Samantha Sanghera

Associate Attorney

Samantha is an experienced litigator and currently leads CGW’s Indiana office. She currently works on a variety of matters including construction, premises, general negligence, and transportation cases, among others. Samantha has a passion for trial work and thrives in the courtroom

Prior to joining CGW, Samantha worked with the Indiana Attorney General’s Office, as well as the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office. As a Deputy Prosecutor, Samantha gained extensive jury trial experience representing the state on a wide variety of matters. She then moved on to the Deputy Attorney General’s office for the State of Indiana. There, she gained experience in appellate writing and litigated an oral argument for the Indiana Court of Appeals. She also defended state agencies throughout the state of Indiana in various civil litigation matters, ranging from small claims disputes up to federal habeas cases and Section 1983 Civil Rights claims. Samantha has also worked as corporate in-house counsel where she worked on compliance and corporate matters, and oversaw the retention of outside counsel.

Samantha graduated from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2014. Throughout law school, she worked as a Research Assistant to Professor R. George Wright, in addition to gaining litigation experience in several certified legal internship roles. Prior to that, she attended Indiana University at Purdue, where she earned a dual degree in Philosophy and Psychology
