Roman joined Daniel P. Costello & Associates in February of 2016, where he has worked on a variety of matters including premises liability, automobile accident, and complex construction cases. Roman also brings his experience from previously working at a mid-sized insurance defense firm in Chicago where he worked after graduating from law school.
Roman graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law in May of 2014, where he was a notes and comments editor for the Chicago-Kent Law Review, a member of Chicago-Kent’s Moot Court Honor Society, as well as a Teaching Assistant in Legal Writing. He received Dean’s List honors and four CALI Awards of Excellence for earning the highest grade in a class in Legal Writing II, Trial Advocacy I, Evidence and the Art of Advocacy, and Legislation: Process and Interpretation.
Roman previously served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Donald J. Suriano in the Circuit Court of Cook County in the Law Division, and as an extern in the Labor and Employment Group of a large national law firm. In his third year of law school, Roman worked for a Chicago-area law firm specializing in class actions, employment law, and business litigation.
Roman obtained his BA in Political Science & International Relations from Carleton College and frequently misses the cows, colleges, and contentment on offer in Northfield, Minnesota.
