Daniel received his J.D. in 2014 from the University of Minnesota Law School in Minneapolis, with a concentration in Environmental and Energy Law. After graduating, he worked as a law clerk with Daniel P. Costello & Associates, LLC where he received experience working on construction litigation, personal injury, and insurance coverage issues.
While in law school, Daniel worked in the Environmental Sustainability Clinic to assist a local city to improve its stormwater regulations as it prepared for a new permit from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. Dan also spent a summer working for the US EPA – Region 5, where he spent most of his time on issues involving CERCLA, and he was an extern for the Minnesota Tax Court.
Daniel is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois.
Outside of work, Dan enjoys reading and learning about sports analytics, running along Lake Michigan, and roasting coffee. He received a B.S. and B.A. from American University in 2011 in Economics and Philosophy, where he focused on emissions permit markets, with special attention to signaling behavior and permit banking in those markets.
